The Trust has received funding from the North Yorkshire Aggregates Levy Scheme to create a preliminary record of industrial archaeology in the quarry, and to compile an oral history database from interviews with the local community.
The project is supported by the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority and Tarmac Northern.
